ABOUT

Our Purpose

The purpose of Tucson Baptist Academy is to assist the home in the responsibility of training the child in a Christ-centered philosophy of life. Through a time-tested, classical model of education rooted in Scripture, we seek to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and eloquence in our students.

Tucson Baptist Academy desires to graduate young men and women who are academically sound, deeply grounded in Biblical truth, patriotic, and socially refined. By engaging in the rich traditions of classical learning — focusing on logic, rhetoric, and a love for truth, goodness, and beauty — students will be equipped to think critically, communicate effectively, and live lives guided by Biblical principles. In doing so, they will discern and fulfill God’s will for their lives.

Following Christ’s example as stated in Luke 2:52, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man," Tucson Baptist Academy is committed to nurturing the intellectual, spiritual, and moral formation of each student to the glory of God.

Our Mission

Curriculum

Curriculum

As a private Classical Christian school, Tucson Baptist Academy is committed to delivering a high-quality, Christ-centered education that cultivates wisdom, virtue, and a deep understanding of truth. To achieve this, we utilize a carefully selected mixture of curricula designed to support our learning outcomes while remaining faithful to the rich traditions of Classical Christian education.

All of our teachers hold teaching degrees and are required to develop detailed lesson plans that align with our academic and spiritual goals. Rather than relying solely on a single publisher, we incorporate materials that best serve our students' intellectual and spiritual formation. While Abeka had been a foundational part of our curriculum, we also integrate other classically rich resources that emphasize critical thinking, logic, rhetoric, and a biblical worldview.
